New York — Bronx detectives arrested a Palm Bay, Florida woman after she traveled to New York for Super Bowl Sunday in an attempt to “pimp out” her 15-year-old daughter to football fans.

Yolanda Ostoloza, 39, originally from New Jersey, reportedly owed nearly $500 in back rent and figured she could make the money by selling her daughter. Ostoloza had been answering online ads posing as her daughter. She (Ostoloza) answered an advertisement offering $200 to meet with her daughter for sex at a Manhattan hotel.

The ad was actually placed by undercover detectives.

When the 15-year-old arrived at the hotel , she agreed to have sex with the undercover detective for $200. As she was being arrested, she advised she was only 15 and that her mom was waiting for her in another hotel down the street. Detectives drove to the hotel, and after questioning Ostoloza, she was arrested.

Ostoloza told detectives, “I brought my daughter to New York so she could turn tricks with Super Bowl fans. We came up here to work and make money with a pimp.

Further investigation revealed that Ostoloza allowed her daughter to meet men at hotel rooms in Florida as well. According to reports, it’s how the family pays bills, although court records show Ostoloza has a repeated pattern of racking up back rent and trying to skip out on paying; some amounts in access of $4,000. Reports indicate Ostoloza also may have been misusing government funds that were intended for the use of paying her rent. Ostoloza was also arrested once before in Paterson, New Jersey, for possession of Heroin.

During Ostoloza’s court appearance today, she denied knowing her daughter was turning tricks, even though she had previously admitted it.

Ostoloza was charged with Promoting Prostitution and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. A protection order was also issued on the daughters behalf.
