Polk County, Florida — On Friday, February 21, 2014, Polk County Sheriff’s undercover detectives conducted a Vice initiative at Saddle Creek Park in Lakeland, focusing on complaints about indecent activity at the park. A total of nine men were arrested for soliciting lewd acts.

60-year-old Stephen Cyr, of 3305 Skyview Drive #105 in Lakeland, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Cyr told detectives he is a roofer for Springer Peterson. He is a Registered Sexual Predator from a case in Hillsborough County in 1997 and has been in the Polk County Jail on three prior occasions, between 2009 and 2011, for DUI, and VOP. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $250.00 bond.

68-year-old Fred Keith of 226 Esther Street in Lakeland, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. He told detectives he is retired from Dupont. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $250.00 bond.

51-year-old David Giddens of 1545 Eagle Lake Loop Road in Eagle Lake, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Giddens told detectives he works at Autozone. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and is being held on $250.00 bond.

55-year-old Peter Fortier of 802 Hill Colony Circle East in Lakeland, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Fortier attempted to flee from law enforcement when they told him he was under arrest. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act, Resisting Arrest, and Battery on a LEO. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $2250.00 bond.

48-year-old Timothy Reed of 300 Collins Street West in Lakeland, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Reed told detectives he is an operations manager at Bunch Care Solutions. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $500.00 bond.

70-year-old Marcel Couture of 804 Osprey Avenue in Davenport, grabbed an undercover detective and made lewd comments. He told detectives he is a driver for Disney World. He was arrested and charged with Battery. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $500.00 bond.

76-year-old Robert Lash of 3435 Crestwood Drive in Lakeland, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Lash told detectives he sells cars at Lash Auto Sales. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act, 3rd or Subsequent Offense, and Trespassing. He has been in the Polk County Jail on two prior occasions, in 2007 and 2012, for Exposure of Sex Organ in Public and Offering to Commit Lewdness. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $1250.00 bond.

61-year-old Thomas Bigsby of 211 Moss Road in Auburndale, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Bigsby told detectives he is a self-employed auto mechanic. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and has been released after posting $250.00 bond.

49-year-old David Krusyna of 1705 Branch Lane in Auburndale, solicited an undercover detective to commit a lewd act. Krusyna told detectives he is a valet at 717 Enterprises. He was arrested and charged with Soliciting Another to Commit a Lewd Act. He was booked into the Polk County Jail and is being held on $250.00 bond.

“Polk County’s parks are beautiful places where we can relax, fish, play, and enjoy time together. They are not places for committing lewd acts or exposing yourself. If you choose to commit illegal acts in our parks, you will be arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail,” said Sheriff Grady Judd.
