Help needed in human remains case, clothing photos released

Dunnellon, Florida — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating a case involving human skeletal remains.

The remains were discovered in a wooded area, located near 9587 Southwest 151st Place, in the Florida Highlands in Dunnellon, on August 26, 2016.

MCSO is now asking for the public’s help in the case.

Investigators have released two images of clothing that were found at the scene.

According to MCSO, the shirt has light blue stripes, is a size Large and was made by the brand “Zoo York.” Also found with the remains were a pair of shorts made by “No Boundaries,”size 36.

The tag on the inside of the shorts indicates that they were “Artic White” in color. Like the shirt, the pants appear to have stripes.
