Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are investigating a suspicious death after a septic tank cleaning company discovered human remains.
The human remains were found at 21701 Northwest 52nd Place in Newberry.
According to a press release, the skeletal remains were discovered inside the home’s septic tank while it was being serviced.
Investigators said they are working with the 8th District Medical Examiner’s Office as well as Members of the UF Pound Lab to gather additional evidence.
